Irish Maritime Gin (43.2% 50cl)
L’An Dúlamán Irish Maritime Gin – 43.2 % is distilled in small batches in the Donegal, Ireland, less than a kilometre from the Atlantic Ocean. To capture the character of the Donegal coast, it incorporates five different seaweeds : sweet kelp, dulse, pepper dulse, pelvetia (Dúlamán) and carrageen moss. They give it its particularly original maritime character.
PALATE : Bright, with soft notes of juniper, then a lovely complexity on umami and salt. Notes reminiscent of the sweetness of certain oysters then appear, accompanied by a hint of chestnut and tannins. With a little time, a certain sweetness with Mediterranean accents develops.
