Panama Rum (40% 70cl)
TheAbuelo XII Two Oaks – 40 % is a blend of aged Panamanian rums of 12 years, crafted by the Varela family at Hacienda San Isidro. It benefits from a double maturation : first in American oak bourbon barrels, then in French oak barrels from the Charente cooperage Seguin Moreau. The inside of these barrels is grooved to increase the contact between the rum and the wood, before being toasted according to the traditional Charente method.
NOSE / PALATE : Aromas of vanilla accompanied by smoky notes, coffee, caramel and roasted almonds, with a particularly elegant woodiness.
