Rum from Martinique (53.7% 70cl)
The BALLY CASK STRENGTH 2004 is an agricultural rum from the terroir of Martinique, made from freshly harvested sugar cane and distilled using traditional methods. It is aged in oak barrels for several years, allowing this rum to develop a beautiful complexity.
NOSE: Intense and powerful, with aromas of ripe fruits (mango, banana) and a spicy touch (cinnamon, nutmeg). It is also distinguished by a slight woody, almost smoky note.
PALATE: Rich and round, with flavours of candied fruits, caramel, vanilla and a subtle touch of wood. The whole is perfectly balanced by a lovely note of cane sugar.
FINISH: Long and warm, slightly spicy with notes of dark chocolate and dried fruits.
