Writers' Tears Double Oak is a unique Irish whiskey created from TWO TYPES OF WOOD and TWO STYLES OF IRISH WHISKY. It is a blend of SINGLE POT STILL and SINGLE MALT Irish Whiskey, aged in American Kentucky oak STILLS and French oak COGNAC STILLS from the Cognac region of France. It is TRIPLE DISTILLED, not cold filtered and bottled at 46% ABV. This expression is the result of a close collaboration between the Walsh family in County Carlow, Ireland and the Legaret family in Cognac, France.

NOSE: Hints of sweet vanilla, cinnamon, plum and poached pear.

PALATE: Citrus zest, chocolate nuances and lingering spice.

FINISH: Delicate and elegant. To be savoured.
