Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (60% 70cl)
The Glenfarclas 105 – 60 % is a Single Malt from Speyside benefiting from a full maturation in Oloroso Sherry casks. Glenfarclas was the first to market, in 1968, a “Cask Strength” whisky with the 105, still present today in the permanent range. The designation “105” corresponds to its former alcohol content in British Proof, which is 60 % vol.
NOSE : Sherry, complex, sweet and woody, with apples, pears and an enticing sweetness of dark caramel.
PALATE : Dry and assertive, it quickly develops into a beautiful spicy richness, accompanied by oak, sherry and candied fruits.
FINISH : Of astonishing sweetness for a cask strength, warm and very round, with a persistent spiciness and a slight chocolate note.
