Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (46% 70cl)
NOSE: warm notes of ruby port open up to a delicate saline touch, before giving way to dried fruits, raisins, black cherries, and sultanas.
PALATE: the attack reveals generous caramel and sweet vanilla, supported by beautiful winey nuances. Then come subtle notes of oak smoke, dates, and figs, with a soft, ample texture and very nice depth.
FINISH: long and warm, marked by caramel, dried fruits, and a lovely persistence of ruby port notes.
