Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (61% 70cl)
TheAs We Get It Islay – 60.8 % is a Single Malt from Islay bottled by Ian Macleod Distillers. As its name suggests, it is offered “as it comes from the cask”, at its natural strength, without colouring and without chill filtration. The original distillery is not disclosed. It is a powerful and typically island whisky, marked by peat, smoke and maritime notes.
NOSE : Intense peat smoke, maritime and medicinal notes, accompanied by hints of citrus.
PALATE : Powerful and oily, with pronounced peat, smoke, pepper, citrus and saline notes.
FINISH : Long, smoky and persistent, with notes of peat and spices.
