Arran Rare Batch Bordeaux Cask 15 Years

This Single Malt has fully matured in French oak casks that were previously used to age the RED WINE of a venerable winemaker from the MÉDOC region, north of BORDEAUX.

NOSE: Ripe blackberries with freshly rolled cigars. The sweet aroma of tobacco is embraced by the gentleness of raisins and blackcurrants.

PALATE: Afternoon tea with chocolate and raspberry truffles, candied ginger, scones with cream and orange marmalade, almond croissants, and cinnamon. The silky and succulent tannins recall the elegance of the wine once held in these barrels.

FINISH: Very indulgent at the beginning, it becomes slightly drier with plum jam and mild spices.
