Arran 17 Years
Single Malt Scotch Whisky (46% 70cl)
Exceptionally, Arran is not releasing an Arran 18 years, but an Arran 17 years. A "standout" in their usual range, so to speak. But as always, age is subservient to quality: this 17-year-old is on the same level as the previous 18-year editions. It has matured in first-fill and refill sherry casks, as well as bourbon casks, with a natural color and bottled at 46%.
Limited to 12,000 bottles worldwide.
NOSE: Green apple and orchard fruits.
PALATE: Butter caramel and a touch of toasted oak.
FINISH: Sweet and lingering with notes of almond and creamy vanilla. A hint of cinnamon at the very end.
