Elements of Islay Bourbon Cask

ELEMENTS OF ISLAY BOURBON CASK was matured in first-fill and refill bourbon casks and bottled at a higher 54.5% ABV to fully showcase the whisky's natural personality. The rich classic barbecue smoke from an Islay distillery on the south coast combines with the subtler, spicier flavors of the north coast.

PROFILE: Charcoal Smoke - Tropical Fruits - Maple Syrup

NOSE: Sweet aromas rise from a pot of sugar with vanilla pods. The scent of vanilla and amber-scented candles fills the air, along with fresh tropical fruits. Light whiffs of fireplace charcoal smoke linger.

PALATE: A cappuccino sprinkled with chocolate, a warm vanilla brioche with mustard, and tangy fruits poached in maple syrup appear, accompanied by a roaring peat fire. Buttercream icing on vanilla cakes follows.

FINISH: Smooth, creamy vanilla with a hint of peat smoke.
