Created by the independent bottler GLEANN MÓR SPIRITS based in Edinburgh, the brand EDINBURGH WHISKY, The DISCOVERY COLLECTION aims to showcase the craftsmanship of a distillery by region in Scotland. It makes a strong entrance with a peated whisky produced at the BUNNAHABHAIN distillery. It matured from November 2013 to December 2022 in Refill Bourbon Hogshead casks.
TASTE: Creamy peat, gentle, some spices.
PALATE: Full-bodied, still creamy peat, with hints of honey and a bit of fruit.
FINISH: On a present licorice-tinged peat, mellow and long, pastries with some barbecue notes.
